St Josephs Catholic Primary School – North Ipswich
St. Joseph’s Primary School has been providing excellence in education since 1913 when it was established by Father Andrew Horan and a group of laymen on a plot of land located in “Liverpool Estate” on Albert Street in North Ipswich. For over six decades, the Sisters of Mercy oversaw the operations of the school, which was owned by the Parish, before the first lay principal was appointed in 1975 by Brisbane Catholic Education.
